I LOVE people and children and would do best in a home with children approximately 5+. If I had my way, I'd cuddle up with you, give you little kisses and devote my life to giving you the love you deserve. All I ask in return is for you to treat me like one of your family members with loyalty, love and lots of fun times. In my past, I had a bad experience with other dogs. As a result, some other dogs make me nervous so I would be best in a home with no other dogs or a mellow male. Thanks to some generous people, they paid for me to go to training to help me build my confidence so I could enjoy the company of other dogs. Now, I can play with five other dogs and don't get scared. I'm so glad I can be a 'dog' again. You wouldn't know that I was deaf. I am more attentive to my human than most hearing dogs. I 'listen' well. I really enjoy my training and would love to find a forever home with someone that would like to learn too and enjoy that bonding time with me. I am house and crate-trained. I prefer to be crated when my humans leave since I get a little scared if I can't find them. I walk great on a leash and know basic commands and hand signals. Don't be shy. Come over and meet me. I'll even let you gently squish my face and you might get a kiss out of the deal. Sara is available as a forever foster.
