Hello! My name is Hunny. I am a boxer/akita mix and I'm about 3yrs old. When my foster parents found me on the side of the freeway I was lonely, scared and had a badly broken hip. And even though I was very nervous, I eventually warmed up to them and knew they would help me get better. After a few months solid months of bed rest the vet said I was strong enough to start walking around on my own. Now I don't let anything hold me back! I love to go on runs and play chase with my favorite toy. I can even jump all the way up on the big bed when foster mom let's me that is... And even though I can take a minute to warm-up (less if you give me ice cubes), I love everyone I meet with all my heart... except maybe cats and squirrels... but I love all kinds of peope and do well with kids. I would like to find an active and loving family, maybe someone who likes to run as much as I do! And even though I love to be inside cuddling with you whenever I can, I do also like to have a fenced in yard where I can play with my toys and go cloud gazing. I'm so excited to find my frever home!
